I came across this video in one of my classes a few weeks back. In its hilarious attention to detail, Charlie Brooker satirizes the way broadcast news segments are crafted and presented to an audience. By becoming its inspiration, the video superbly criticizes it. More often than not, we are subconsciously aware of the heavy-handed techniques these attention-grabbers employ but never stop to think about how ridiculousness they are. After watching the video below, you will never feel so smart (or so stupid) again.
