I attended a rare screening of Jonas Mekas' "Birth of a Nation" at the Microcope Gallery in Brooklyn on Saturday, February 25th, 2012. Mekas was present for a Q&A afterwards and I recorded some of the event on my Flip video camera. As Mekas celebrated his 90th birthday this past December 24th, I felt now was the right time to upload this footage. I apologize for the bad camera work in advance, and yes, that is me asking Mekas a question at the 50 second mark. It was a very nice evening.
