The time has come for a podcast to make its presence known on this website, and for this inaugural week, you get two editions for the price of none. Similar to a new talk show host having a few weeks of "trial runs," I first recorded a podcast with former filmmaker Wilfredo Alvelo back in January to get myself into the flow of things. We spoke about all things Sundance. That podcast can be found here. Last weekend I recorded a second podcast with 411mania's Chad Webb where we spoke about aging action stars of the 1980s, their recent career resurgence, and what's left for them in the future. That podcast can be found here. As I recorded both podcasts believing that they were to serve as the first episode, I decided to release them both simultaneously, distinguished by 1A and 1B. The format is a little shaky for my first time out, as I'm still trying to get comfortable with hosting a podcast and maintaining a necessary pace. I am also attempting to learn more about audio editing as we speak (you will notice that in Podcast 1A, we reference another portion of the podcast at the conclusion that isn't available; sorry about that).
